Memorable Mosaic Tree
I think of weeping willows when I see this Memorable Mosaic Tree! Of course, I’ve never seen a weeping willow with Rococo Rose leaves but, in this case, I’m pleased with the combination for a card. Thanks to Lisa Hardin (The Stamping Zoo) for sharing her design!
Let’s make it….
Cut Rococo Rose Cardstock at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2” – Fold in 1/2 to create standard card size of 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″.
Cut Mossy Meadow Cardstock at 5-1/8″ x 3-7/8″. Attach to the card base with Snail Adhesive.
Cut Whisper White Cardstock at 5 x 3-3/4″.
Use Early Espresso Classic Ink to stamp the “trunk” of the tree.
Use Rococo Rose Classic Ink, Mossy Meadow Classic Ink and Pear Pizzazz Classic Ink to stamp the leaves of the tree. Move the stamp over a little bit when using a different colour. Use Snail Adhesive to attach the Whisper White layer over the Mossy Meadow layer.
Cut Mossy Meadow Cardstock at 3-7/8″ x 1″. Use Snail Adhesive to attach near the bottom of the card. This is an easy way to add a “pop” of colour instead of using ribbon.
Stamp the greeting on Rococo Rose Cardstock with Versamark Ink. Sprinkle with Shimmer White Embossing Powder. Melt the embossing powder with the heat tool.
Punch out the greeting with the Timeless Label Punch. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to attach the greeting over the Mossy Meadow strip.
