Ink, Ink, Ink
As demonstrator, I receive a magazine called Stampin’ Success. It is filled with samples, inspiration and suggestions to help us create amazing projects and a successful business. Today I would like to share an article about Stampin’ Up! Inks that was in the May/June 2015 issue of this magazine.
Stamping, colouring, spritzing, sponging, brayering….there’s so much you can do with ink! When you flip through the catalogues or browse the online store you’ll see markers, ink refills and ink pads in the same colours. Sometimes it can be overwhelming! Each type of ink gives different results, which provides tons of creative options. On the flip side, things can go wrong – like smudging and bleeding – if you use an ink incorrectly.
Following are explanations of the 3 types of ink: Solvent-Based; Pigment-Based and Dye-Based
Maybe I will host a “Getting To Ink You” class where we can try all of these inks – would you like to attend?
