Re-Inking Your Stamp Pads

Re-Inking Your Stamp Pads

Are your pads in need of ink?  Do you get a light, faded image when you stamp?  Do you need to re-ink your stamp pads?

2015-Ink-Pad-Holder

Since my wonderful, talented hubby built this stand to hold my stamp pads, ink refills and markers,

I find that I’m able to re-ink my stamp pads on a regular basis and, wow, what a difference this makes! Now my stamped images are always clear and crisp!

So I think your best “bang for your buck” is to purchase the sets of ink refills in each color family.

Remember, if you don’t need an entire set, you can order any individual ink refill as well.

See all of the available ink refills in my online store here or click on any of the photos below to go directly to that item online.

Multi-Colouring Stamps – How do you ink a stamp with more than one color?

You could certainly use Stampin’ Write Markers to ink all required colors on a stamp followed by “huffing” before you stamp, but here is a different way.

If one color is prevalent, use an ink pad with that color first; ink up the entire stamp.

Then use a blender pen to remove the color from the areas you want a different color.

Now color those areas with Stampin’ Write Markers, “huff” and stamp.  This tip works best when you have one large area and then one or more smaller areas.
