Santa’s Wish List

Santa’s Wish List

Wouldn’t it be great to be on Santa’s Wish List?  Have you been especially good this year?  I’m sure you have so it would be great for you to receive a card like this one in your mailbox!  Notice that the greeting on the front indicates “more to come” by ending with the small dots so, for the inside layer, I used the stamp that says “….and more!”

Detailed instructions:

  1. Cut Thick Whisper White Cardstock at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2” – Fold in 1/2 to create standard card size of 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″.
  2. Cut Whisper White Cardstock at 5-1/4″ x 4″.
    1. Use the Softly Falling Impressions Folder with the Big Shot to create snow at the top of the layer.
    2. Attach to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  3. Cut a strip of Joyous Noel DSP at 4-1/4″ x 1-7/16″.
    1. Use the Triple Banner Punch to create a flagged end.
    2. Use Snail Adhesive to attach to the Whisper White embossed layer.
  4. Use largest square scallop framelit with the Big Shot to cut out a Basic Black square.
  5. Cut a square of Whisper White Cardstock at 2-1/2″
    1. Use Tuxedo Memento Black Ink to stamp greeting near the top
    2. Use Softly Falling impression folder with the Big Shot to create snowflakes near the top.
  6. Use Tuxedo Memento Black Ink to stamp Santa on a scrap of Whisper White Cardstock.
    1. Use Santa framelit from the Santa’s Signpost Framelits Dies with the Big Shot to cut out the stamped Santa.
    2. Use Stampin’ Blends to colour Santa.
    3. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to attach Santa to the Whisper White square.

Little Elves are having fun!

Little Elves are having fun!

I love how these little elves are having fun hanging from the letters of JOY!!  The letters were made from the Joyous Noel Glimmer Paper and they were so excited to spend time with Santa’s little helpers!  The background of the Cherry Cobbler card base was stamped with one of the stamps in the Signs of Santa stamp set using Cherry Cobbler Classic Ink.

  1. Cut Cherry Cobbler Cardstock at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2” – Fold in 1/2 to create standard card size of 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″.
  2. Cut Copper Foil Cardstock at 4″ x 2-3/4″.  Attach to the card base with Snail Adhesive.
  3. Cut Whisper White Cardstock at 2-1/2″ x 3-3/4″.  Attach over the Copper Foil Cardstock layer with Snail Adhesive.
  4. Use the Large Letter Framelits with the Big Shot to cut out the letters – J O Y from the Glimmer Paper in Copper, Merry Merlot and Tranquil Tide.
  5. Stamp the elves with Tuxedo Memento Black Ink.  Use the Santa Framelits with the Big Shot to cut out the elves.  Colour with the Stampin’ Blends – use glue dots to attach to the letters.
  6. Use Liquid Mono Glue to attach the letters over the Whisper White Cardstock.

If you want to get everything possible out of your Copper Foil, you can punch shapes out before attaching the layer to the card base.  Or you might want to use the Large Letter Framelits with the Big Shot and cut out some letters for future products like this:
