You’ve Got This

You’ve Got This, I’m Sure!

When using the “You’ve Got This Stamp Set”, you will have many choices – just use a couple of colours and stamps or you can use Stampin’ Write Markers to colour in all of the flower.  Add a tiny bow or some Wink of Stella to give it some glimmer!  You can see how this card is made here.

Card base: Cut Bermuda Bay Cardstock – 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2” – fold in 1/2 to create standard card size of 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″

1st layer: Cut Sahara Sand Cardstock – 5-1/4″ x 4″ – attach to card base with Snail Adhesive

2nd layer: Cut Whisper White Cardstock – 5″ x 3-3/4″

– use Sahara Sand Classic Ink to stamp the background from You’ve Got This Stamp Set – if you want the background to be lighter, stamp it off on a piece of scrap paper before stamping on the Whisper White Cardstock

– use Bermuda Bay Classic Ink to stamp the flower from You’ve Got This Stamp Set over the Sahara Sand background image

3rd layer: Cut Whisper White Cardstock – 1″ x 3-1/2″ – use Bermuda Bay Classic Ink to stamp the greeting from You’ve Got This Stamp Set – use Paper Snips to cut the banner edges on each end – Stampin’ Dimensionals to attach the greeting to the front of the card

Embellishment: Tie a bow using 1/8″ Gold Ribbon – use Mini Glue Dots to attach to the stem of the flower

Floral Wishes Inside & Out

Gatefold Style with Flourishing Phrases

A gatefold card to showcase the spray of flowers and bring sincere wishes to someone dear!  When I demonstrated this card in a recent class, I heard comments about how much they loved the color combination – I was so pleased especially because the next comment was “I would never have thought about putting those colours together!”  You can see how this card is made here.

Card base: Cut Perfect Plum Cardstock – 4-1/4″ x 11″ – score at 2-3/4″ from both ends – fold on score lines and burnish with the bone folder – make sure the ends only meet in the centre, not overlapped

1st layer: Cut Night of Navy Cardstock – 5″ x 3-3/4″

Front: Cut 1 Whisper White Cardstock – 3-1/2″ x 4-3/4″

– Use Perfect Plum Classic Ink to stamp the flower stem

– Use Stitched Oval Framelits and the Big Shot to cut a piece of Night of Navy Cardstock – attach to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals

– Use Night of Navy Classic Ink to stamp greeting on Whisper White Cardstock – cut out with Stitched Oval Framelits, the Big Shot and the Big Shot Magnetic Platform – attach to the Night of Navy oval with Snail Adhesive

– Use Snail Adhesive to attach to the Night of Navy layer

– Use Snail Adhesive to attach the completed front to the LEFT half ONLY

Inside: Cut 1 Whisper White Cardstock – 4″ x 5-1/4″

– Use Perfect Plum Classic Ink to stamp the flower stem near the bottom corner – partially off the cardstock

– Use Night of Navy Classic Ink to stamp greeting from Flourishing Phrases Stamp Set
