Flowers & Field DSP Circles

When you have Designer Series Paper (DSP), it’s hard to decide what side of the paper to use! I like designs where I can use BOTH sides of the DSP. This design makes use of consecutive circles.

Coordinating cardstock placed behind the DSP circles and as the card, base work well to tie it all together. Matching ribbon, dry embossing on the background layer, and Gold Glimmer embellishments complete the bright, summer look!

Always In My Heart

Let’s start with cutting some paper…

I started by cutting Bumblebee Cardstock (#153077) @ 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″, scored at 4-1/4″, folded and burnished with the Bone Folder. The Basic White Cardstock (#159276) was cut at 5-1/4″ x 4″. The next step was to emboss it with the Dainty Diamonds 3D Embossing Folder (#152702) and the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (#149653).

Now to add some colour…

The gorgeous Flowers & Field Designer Series Paper (#155223) is available for FREE during Sale-A-Bration. The Layering Circles Dies (#151770) was used with the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine to cut patterned DSP and Bumblebee Cardstock for the front of the card.

Now for the greeting…

The greeting from the Always In My Heart Stamp Set (#154337) was stamped with Bumblebee Classic Ink (#153116) on Basic White Cardstock. The Label Me Fancy Punch (#151297) was a perfect fit for the greeting so I punched out the greeting. Then I punched ribbon slots in either end so I could thread the Bumblebee Gingham Ribbon (#153658) through the slots. Mini Glue Dots worked great to attach the ribbon on the back of the Basic White embossed layer. Last, but not least, I attached Gold Glitter Enamel Dots (#152155) for embellishments.
