Tool Tip Thursday – Glue Sticks – Rejuvenated!

Have you ever had your Stampin’ Up! Anywhere Glue Sticks (Item #104045) dry out and get so hard you think you can’t use them?

Don’t throw it away – Rejuvenate it!

1. Put a little bit of water in a cup.

2. Pull the lid off the dried up glue stick.

3. Place the glue stick (glue side down) in the water & leave overnight.

4. Remove the glue stick, and dry off with a paper towel.  It’s now ready to go.

5. It will be moist and sticky for your next project.

To prevent your glue stick from drying out again, store it in a reclosable plastic bag.

News from Stampin’ Up!

As of February 27, the Stampin’ Blendabilities markers are not available!

A quality problem has become evident and none of the Blendabilities can be ordered at this time – including the Sale-a-Bration Blendabilities.

As more details become available, I will be sure to pass the information on to you.

Tool Tip Thursday – Stamp-A-Ma-Jig

What do you do when you have a little piece of card stock and you go to use the Stamp-A-Ma-Jig (Item #101049) and the piece of card is too small to hold still under the jig?

Use the Stamp-A-Ma-Jig’s best friend – the post-it note!

Stick your card stock to the work surface with one or two post-it notes.  Line up your Stamp-A-Ma-Jig as you normally would – know that the card will not move because the post-it note has it secured.

This is especially useful for stamping a sentiment on a thin strip of card.

Place the post-it over the strip
Line up the positioning sheet
Place the Stamp-A-Ma-Jig over the corner of the positioning sheet
Remove the positioning sheet and stamp the image

This eliminates the need to stamp the image and then cut off excess card afterwards.
