Arrange a Wreath with Joy Die!

Joy dies

If you want to make a lot of cards and you don’t have a lot of extra time, you can always use “Arrange a Wreath with a Joy Die“! The Wreath Builder Dies (#152722) that coordinates with the “Arrange a Wreath” stamp set (#152587) are very easy to use! They can be purchased as a bundle (#154109) as well – 10% savings!

Card Base:

  • Start by cutting Very Vanilla Card Stock (#101650) @ 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ and scoring it @ 4-1/4″.
  • The next step was to fold on the scoreline and burnish with a Bone Folder.
  • The second layer of Early Espresso Card Stock (#119686) is cut at 5-1/4″ x 4″ and attached to the Very Vanilla layer with your choice of adhesive.
    • Note: I used Multipurpose Liquid Glue for my card!
Wreath & Joy Dies

Decorating the front:

  • Use the Wreath Builder Dies to cut a “sprig” wreath from Crumb Cake Card Stock (#120953) and attach over the Early Espresso Card Stock with Multipurpose Liquid Glue
  • Cut a “leaf” wreath out of Champagne Foil Sheets (#144748) and attach over the Crumb Cake Card Stock with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
  • Now, it was time to create the “Joy” greeting.
    • Cut a piece of Champagne Foil Sheet to fit the Foam Adhesive Sheet (#152815), peel the cover layer from the adhesive sheet, and attach the Champagne Foil Sheet.
    • Use the Joy Die (#153530) with Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine to cut out the thinnest word “Joy” (there are 3 to pick from!).
    • Note: Even though the layer was quite thick, with a bit of patience, I succeeded in getting the word out of the adhesive-foil layer.
    • Taking the back cover off of the adhesive layer was easy and attaching the “raised Joy” in the centre of the wreath completed the card front.

Your “Arrange a Wreath with a Joy Die” card is now complete!

I’ve been learning to add a greeting or image to the inside layer of my cards so for this one, I picked a Christmas greeting and stamped it with Early Espresso Classic Ink. I also stamped an image on the coordinating envelope. You can use wreaths like these for so many occasions like this one and this one.
