A sympathy card is never an easy one to design but I feel it’s important to have some of these cards on hand so you can send them as soon as possible! This Lasting Lily card is one that we made in a recent Sympathy Card Class. We used a variety of stamps, ink and paper! To me, the softness of this card will relay the sincere condolences that I want to.

I’m sure there are lots of people on your “friends list” who would love to get Just a Note from a Rooster! Isn’t he just the cutest rooster you’ve ever seen? The Home to Roost stamp set is another one that is available for FREE during the 2019 Sale-A-Bration season. I was excited to share this design with the ladies who recently attended my “Black & White Card Class”. Some decided to colour the entire rooster while I was happy to only add a bit of Real Red that you see in this photo.

These beautiful butterflies in Night of Navy and Silver will make any creation sparkle! The thinlits come in 2 different designs that complement each other and are so easy to match up. You can cut them in any coordinating colours and then that’s all you’d need. Or you can add background images like I did on this card to give them a place to fly! I love how the reversible ribbon ties the variety of butterflies all together.

Hello Cupcake is a cute birthday stamp set you can get for FREE during Sale-A-Bration 2019 – see page 6! You can make cupcakes with sprinkles, many icing layers and even a few hearts! For these samples, I’ve matched the icing colours to the Gingham Gala DSP that’s available on page 35 of the 2019 Occasions Catalogue. Instead of sprinkle, I stamped stars and added some Rhinestone Basic Jewels – they look pretty yummy to me!!
I think the pictures show how the card is put together but I will share a few tips with you as well.
Don’t let the curly tail on the left-hand side of the cupcake paper deceive you – I think it’s supposed to be a shadow. When stamping, I ignored the “tail” and stamped the cupcake paper in the center of the whisper white cardstock that was cut out with the Rectangle Framelits.
Use a different colour for the “cake” layer – my cake here is chocolate!
Use the Stamparatus when you can – I mounted the greeting and the cake on the same plate so they could be inked with Early Espresso Classic Ink, the cupcake paper (inked with Crumb Cake Classic Ink) on the other side of the plate and the icing on another plate.

What’s the Catch?
There is NO catch! I know, sometimes we think there is something hidden that we don’t find out about until after we purchase the kit. But here there is truly no catch! The only requirement to maintain as an active demo is a quarterly minimum. And, as a new Demo, you actually have until the following quarter to meet that minimum.(June 30). And what if you don’t meet it? Nothing – you just become a customer again and you will lose the discount. That’s it! You keep the products you received in the Starter Kit.
What are the benefits?
The biggest benefit, in my opinion, is that you become a member of my team – Marilyn’s Marvelous Stampers – We meet “online” every month, discuss projects, ideas, and celebrate achievements. Some of my team have chosen to make a business out of their Starter Kit and others have chosen just to support their hobby with a discount.
